What we can see
This is a common plan for the day. You do not have to do all of it. Tell me what interests you and we change it.
See how tea is grown and made, and taste it at the end.
Fishermen sitting on poles in the sea, a picture many people know from Sri Lanka.
Sea turtles on the south coast.
Plants and spices used in ayurveda, the traditional medicine of Sri Lanka.
Walk the old walls by the sea, the lighthouse and the narrow streets with cafes and small shops. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Entrance tickets at the stops are not included in my price.

How far it is
These are typical times by road to Galle Fort. Stops along the way add to this.
| Where you are staying | To Galle Fort |
|---|---|
| Unawatuna | About 15 minutes |
| Ahangama, Weligama | About 45 minutes |
| Mirissa | About 1 hour |
| Dickwella, Hiriketiya | About 1.5 hours |
| Tangalle | About 1.5 to 2 hours |
The fort is nicest late in the day. It is cooler, and many people walk on the walls to watch the sunset. Most guests leave after breakfast and are back at their hotel in the evening.

No, my price is for the whole vehicle. A family of four in the car pays the same as a couple.
My licence is for driving, so I do not give tours inside. I drop you at the fort, show you where to start walking, and wait for you. Take as long as you like.
A hat, sunscreen, water and comfortable shoes.
