How long it takes
From the airport we take the expressway around Colombo and then the Southern Expressway down the coast. These are typical times. Night arrivals are quicker, and Friday evenings are slower.

How it works
Message me your flight number, arrival time and hotel. I reply with a price for the whole vehicle and we agree the plan.
I stand outside the arrivals hall with a sign with your name. Waiting time is included, so a late flight costs you nothing extra.
Air conditioning, bottled water, and a stop for tea or the toilet whenever you like. Expressway tolls and parking are included.
This is what to look for when you come out of arrivals: me, with a sign that says Welcome to Sri Lanka and your name. (The family's name on this sign is blurred.)
Two airports
A few flights land at Mattala (HRI), in the far south. If yours does, Tangalle and Tissamaharama are both under an hour away, and I can collect you there in the same way.
Going home? I also drive guests from the south coast back to either airport. Tell me your flight time and I will work out when we should leave.

Yes. Flights land at all hours and I drive at all hours. Many guests arrive late at night or very early in the morning.
Walk out of the arrivals hall after customs. I am waiting outside with a sign with your name. If you cannot see me, send me a WhatsApp message and I will come to you.
No, the price is for the whole vehicle. A family of four in the car pays the same as a couple.
The car takes up to four people with luggage. The van takes up to seven or eight. If you have surfboards or a lot of bags, tell me and I will make sure there is room.
Fuel, expressway tolls, parking and waiting time. There is nothing added at the end.
In US dollars, euros, pounds or Sri Lankan rupees. Message me and we will agree what suits you best.
